Welcome to the Ashfield Floral Art web site. The following information is just a guide to tell you something about our club and how you may become involved.

Nafas logo

Ashfield Floral Art was formed in 1973 by our President, Mrs. Janet Pearson and it grew very quickly in popularity - some of the founder members still attend regularly and we have many long term members. Ashfield Floral Art club is affliliated to NAFAS, which is a registered charity, however, we do our own fund raising and often take part in good causes.

We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7.15 p.m. at the Library Theatre, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire - when we have a demonstration by an Area or occasionally a National demonstrator. A raffle is held at the end of the evening, with a chance to take home one of the lovely flower arrangements.

You do not need to be a flower arranger to join our club, simply have an interest in flowers or a desire to meet like minded people.

We have a regular "practice night" when members are shown how to make a simple flower arrangement. There is also a chance to try out other crafts including:-

·         Plant pot painting

·         Decorated candles

·         Water colour painting

·         Glass painting

These social evening are very popular and cost very little.

For further details, or to simply give us your opinion and comments, please visit our Guest Book.
